We have ridden in pouring rain with 1/2 inch of water on the ground with no problems.

Some rear brakes may be too fat and scrape the hub motor, use low profile hydraulic calipers

Use Loctite on the brake rotor bolts and keep the motor wire AWAY from them or they will tear up the wire causing damage to the phase/hall wires (bad)
